CT Scanning uses x-rays to produce detailed pictures of structures
inside the body. Each x-ray lasts only a fraction of a second and
produces a “slice” of the organ or part of the body being studied.
The slices or pictures are recorded by computer and reconstructed
(put together) to form a complete picture for the doctor to evaluate.
